M*A*S*H ran for an impressive eleven years, from September of 1972 to February of 1983. A total of 251 episodes were broadcast over the course of eleven seasons on CBS. Of these, the majority were half-hour episodes. A total of five hour-long episodes were broadcast; these were later cut into two half-hour episodes for syndication. Additionally, three two-part episodes were broadcast. Each two-parter was aired over two consecutive weeks and both parts are a half-hour in length. The final episode was two-and-a-half hours long.
