"This show plays a huge role in my life. I was depressed when I was younger and remember my brother getting the VHS copy of the 3rd Season for my mom for Christmas. I ended up being home alone with my brother one weekend being babysat by our uncle and we put in the tape. I immediately felt comfortable and couldn't stop laughing. This show has a special place in my heart and I love everything about it. I really helped make me feel that it was OK to be my own person and funny and outgoing. It's amazing how something so powerful like that can change a person. M*A*S*H is a world I can go to any time."

"My First MASH was in syndication in India in the early 90s. The episode that got me hooked ever since has been " INGA". I loved the dialogue where Charles puts his foot in his mouth in the first meeting with Inga with Hawkeye watching with glee. Also the last scene where Hawkeye is cajoled into watching movies with Margaret and the immortal line, " This could be the start of a beautiful friendship". It has been a memorable love affair since then for me..."

"I always remember MASH being on the television but I didnt pay attention to them until I was about 19. I was a Specialist in the Army by then and I saw the shows in a whole new light. When I went overseas in 2004, I really could relate. I watch MASH all the time now and really cannot find a better show on television."

"My cousin Nesta was always talking about the show for the longest time, and I thought "Oh yeah, that one stupid army show". Haha, how wrong was I? One night I was staying over at her house and it was on TV, and I was absolutely astonished. She went out of the room for a minute and came back in to find me glued to the TV. She looked at me and said: "I told you so." I've got the entire series now and am a devoted fan. Probably more so than her these days!"
Amy (born 1978)
"Oddly enough it was the last episode. I know I must have watched MASH many times before but just cant remember. I remember my family watching the final episode and everyone being sad. I dont remember specifics about the episode, just that everyone in my family was very sad.( I am now a MASH-aholic!)"

"Well, I first began watching the show late 2006, I believe, and was terribly confused by all the references and characters. But I liked it, so I watched it again. And again. And I became hooked to a television show that ended 11 years before I was born. Which, funnily enough to me, is how long it aired.
I simply love the show now, and there's no doubt it's my favorite with its sheer brilliance."
Sarah (born 1994)
"My dad always watched M*A*S*H when I was little, and we still enjoy watching it today. I think the first episode I remember was The Price of Tomato Juice, the ending made me laugh forever! M*A*S*H is a truely great show and nothing can or ever will come close to it."
Louise (born 1971)
"I don't remember the first episode I saw, but it was around season three that I got hooked. My favourite episode is Sons & Bowlers, I just love how the relationship between Hawkeye and Charles changes. I also love the episodes with Clete Roberts. Hawkeye is my hero."
Fatima (born 1992)
"The first episode of M*A*S*H that i watched was in 2006 the episode where one of the wounded claims to be Jesus Christ and i've been watching it ever since. I am really glad i got attached because it is the best tv show ever and my favourite charracters would have to be B.J and Hawkeye."

"I honestly can't recall the first episode I watched but I know I was 5 or 6 with my Grandparents when I saw it, and I have passed on the tradition... My daughter and I have "M*A*S*H hour" every night when I get home from work and she loves it as much as I do."
Vonnie (born 1984)
"I can't recall the first episode I ever saw, but some of the fondest memories I have of my grandfather (who passed away in 1989) involve watching M*A*S*H and eating Raisin Bran. Since then I have watched it whenever I manage to catch it on television."
